Material:-
• 500 g beef (with or without bones)
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 large onion (finely chopped)
• 2-3 garlic cloves (crushed)
• 2 carrots (chopped)
• 2 potatoes (chopped)
• 1 cup capsicum (chopped)
• 4 cups beef broth or water
• 1 tsp tomato paste
• 1 teaspoon thyme – salt and pepper to taste
How to make Beef Stew:
1. Heat oil in a large pan. Add onion and garlic and fry until golden brown.
2. Add the beef pieces and sear well on all sides.
3. Now add carrots, potatoes and capsicum and cook for a few minutes.
4. Add tomato paste, thyme, salt and pepper.
5. Add broth or water, and mix everything well.
6. Cover it and cook on medium flame for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the beef becomes soft.
7. Stir from time to time and add water if needed.
