This easy apple pie is a great recipe. It’s simple to make, but it looks like a professional baker put hours of effort into it, and it tastes just like that, too. It’s buttery, flaky, gooey, and sweet, just perfect!

To make Apple Pie follow the following ingredients and method:

Material:

For the pastry:

  • 2 ½ cups refined flour
  • 1 cup butter (cold and cut into small pieces)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

for the stuffing:

  • 6-8 apples (peeled and cut into slices)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder (optional)

Method of Preparation:

  1. Making the pastry:
  • Take flour in a large bowl, add salt and sugar.
  • Add the cold butter and mix well until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  • Then knead the dough by slowly adding cold water.
  • Divide the dough into two parts and keep one part in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  1. Apple Stuffing:
  • Combine apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour in a large bowl. Mix all ingredients well.
  1. Making the pie:
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Roll out one portion of the dough removed from the freezer and place in a pie tin.
  • Add the apple mixture.
  • Roll out the other portion of dough and place it over the apples. Seal the edges well and make a few cuts on the top to allow steam to escape.
  • Bake the pie for 30-40 minutes, or until it is golden brown.
